Warning about fraudulent negotiators

(Prague, 7 March 2022) MAXIMA pojišt'ovna strongly urges all those interested in insurance, especially foreigners and Ukrainians, to check in their own interest the person with whom they are negotiating an insurance contract and to whom they are paying premiums.

Again, there are cases of fraudsters collecting large sums of money without being authorized to arrange insurance in the Czech Republic. 
The insurance company recommends checking the alleged insurance company representative, for example, by asking for his/her name or identification document. You can then contact his/her contracting insurance company, in the case of MAXIMA insurance company on the hotline at + 420 273 190 400 or verify his/her authorization to negotiate directly on the CNB website.
