Which insurance should I select if I live in a cooperative apartment which is owned by a building cooperative?

In this case, you can set up only household insurance which covers the apartment furnishings.

Can I insure a building or an apartment under construction?

Yes, it is possible. Our building insurance protects your house from the very beginning to its completion and final inspection. The only condition is to situate it within the territory of the Czech Republic. If the building does not yet have an assigned address, it is necessary to fill in the contract with a plot number in cooperation with the insurance company headquarters.

I am an owner of a family house and I live in one apartment, the second one I rent out. How can I insure my family house and both apartments (households)?

As the owner of a family house, you can insure the building and the household (which are in your ownership). You can insure both the property in your household as well as the household you are renting out. The tenant can then also insure the household but only the property which is in its ownership.

I live in a cooperative apartment. Which insurance should I get?

The building cooperative is required to insure its cooperative apartments. In this case, you can set up only household insurance which covers the apartment furnishings.
