Warning About Fraudulent Insurance Offers on Social Media
Recently, we have seen an increase in fraudulent activities where dishonest individuals or groups pose on social media platforms, such as Telegram, using fake profiles or in the name of so-called “pseudo-agencies” and offer our insurance for foreigners. These fraudsters often use visuals and terminology that may appear trustworthy, but they have no connection with our company.
How to Recognize a Scam:
The account lacks official contact information or is completely anonymous.
Offers are presented via private messages.
There is a lack of basic transparency, such as the identification of a sales representative or a company registration number.
Deals that seem too good to be true or include time pressure tactics (e.g., “only today,” “last chance”) are common signs of fraud.
What to Watch Out For:
- Never share your personal or payment information via unverified profiles.
- Always verify insurance offers through official partners or directly on the company's website.
- If you have any doubts, contact our customer support line at +420 273 190 400 or check the intermediary’s authorization directly on the website of the Czech National Bank (ČNB).
Thank you for helping us protect the good name of our insurance company and the safety of all our clients.
