New Comprehensive Health Insurance for Foreigners contracts can be negotiated until 1 August 2021

(Praha, 25. July 2021) With regard to the approved amendment to Act No. 326/1999 Coll., the Act on the Residence of Foreigners in the Czech Republic, as amended, it will be possible to negotiate new Comprehensive Health Insurance for Foreigners contracts with MAXIMA insurance company only until 1 August 2021 inclusive.
All insurance policies taken out before that date are by law valid under the existing terms and conditions and clients with insurance policies taken out before 2 August 2021 may prove that such policies commence or end after that date.
Necessary and urgent health care insurance for foreigners is not affected by the changes and will continue to be offered as standard.
