Ing. Petr Sedláček
Chairman of the Board

Petr Sedláček graduated from the University of Economics. His career has been very diverse. He was the chairman of the Board of Directors of Home Credit, worked as a deputy interior minister and as a director in advisory for financial institutions in the CR and the SR for PriceWaterhouseCooper. He held important management positions also in Česká pošta and Global Payments Europe. 

Ing. Roman Kohout
Vice-chairman of the Board of Directors

Roman Kohout graduated from Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He has many years of experience in financial services, IT, and from the manufacturing sector, where he held senior management positions. Throughout his professional career, he worked for a number of renowned companies and has experience with the management of strategic projects within the ČSOB group and management of acquisition projects in PPF Group. He also worked for EY and in Český rozhlas.

Ing. Lukáš Elstner
Director of Insurance Products and Claims

Lukáš Elstner graduated in Insurance Studies from the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Liberec. He began his professional career in the field of public health insurance. Since 2012, he has been working at Maxima pojišťovna, where he started as a Product Manager and later held the position of Head of the Project and Product Department. Since 2026, he has served as Director of Insurance Products and Claims.

Ing. Roman Jandík
Director of Retail Insurance 

Roman Jandík graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, CTU in Prague, majoring in Economics and Business Management. He has spent most of his career in marketing and e-commerce. Besides insurance, he also worked in the field of banking and capital markets. He has been working at Maxima pojišťovna since 2013, and has been in charge of marketing and online distribution. Since 2019, he has been the Head of Distribution and Marketing.

Martina Kavříková
Head of Operations
Member of the Board

Martina Kavříková is the head of operations and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 20 April 2016. She has large experience in the insurance sector, namely in operations, reinsurance, IT management, and claim settlement. She also has banking experience: in dealing and asset and liabilities management.

Ing. Lucie Ponertová
Director of Corporate Insurance Risks

Lucie Ponertová graduated from the University of Finance and Administration with a degree in Banking and Insurance. She has many years of experience in the insurance industry. She began her professional career at Česká pojišťovna in the reinsurance division. She later joined Slavia pojišťovna, where she held senior management positions in the area of commercial and industrial risk insurance.
